What surprised me is how well written the book was and the tongue in cheek humor. Mr. Nimoy was gracious with those who may have crossed him or didn’t have his best interest at heart. This isn’t a tell-all book that lambasts several people in the television industry. Instead, it is more of a reflection of how Nimoy reacted to the changes in his life.
It was fascinating to trace the humble beginnings of the character, Spock, and the resulting appeal it had on the American public. This was an enjoyable book that opened a window on who Leonard Nimoy was. Unfortunately, due to the date of publication, there is no details on his last years.
It’s a must read for Star Trek fans.
