MY TAKE
Fairycraft by Morgan Daimler is a comprehensive guide to incorporating Fairy Witchcraft into your everyday life and religious practices. Although, working with the Good Folk tends to blend better with earth-based theologies, it is open to anyone. The book walks you through the theological aspects of fairycraft including basic beliefs, Gods, rituals, holidays, and how to incorporate it in your life. It isn’t a manual about various types of fairies; there are several books about this already.
Fairycraft has been painstakingly researched and footnoted it. The information contained between the cover is not the author’s opinion, but rather an accumulated collection of wisdom, encounters, and timeless knowledge pulled together in one book. No one writes anything without putting their mark on it; Daimler does this by excellent organization and readable style. It felt similar to talking with the village crone who generously shared her cures and occasional curses. This is a must for your fairy bookshelf.
